After we released Beachside Living we pretty quickly decided that we wanted to work on a demo called Sane Or Sinner. We recorded it in October 2020, when things were getting a lot colder and darker. The song was a chance to draw on some personal experience but also describes a moment in the story of our forthcoming album when things start to go awry. The cover art was taken on a evening during recording.

We shot the video on a cold December weekend with our good friend Alf. We filmed around Hampstead Heath a bit with the bubble blowers and spent the evening around Regent's Park. It took us ageeesss to get the slo-mo thing worked out, but once we did, we ended up loving it so much we used it for the whole video.
